About

Mrs. Colvert graduated from Baylor University in 1999 with an undergraduate degree in Family and Consumer Science.  Her speciality was child development within the Family and Consumer Science Building.  Following graduation in 1999, Mrs. Colvert went to work for Child Protective Service (CPS) in Dallas, Texas where she worked in the Family Preservation Unit.  For two years, she worked with children in the foster care program. In 2001, Mrs. Colvert relocated to Waco, Texas where she worked for the Methodist Children’s Home as a case manager for children in their foster care program.  After two years, she was recruited to start-up a branch of Lutheran Social Services to serve the adoptive needs in Waco, Texas. In 2005, Mrs. Colvert completed her Masters of Social Work degree at Baylor University and proceeded to return to Dallas, Texas to work for Baylor Medical Center as a medical social worker.  For the past ten years she has been employed in the healthcare field with a specialty in the geriatric population. In her free time, Mrs. Colvert enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremy, son Connor, and daughter Camryn.  As a family, they enjoy playing sports, watching movies, and playing games.
